The theme for Lent is The Color Purple. Purple is a color that has a lot of meaning across many societies as a color of luck or royalty. In the Christian tradition, it is also a symbol of pain and suffering and repentance. The color purple means repentance, reconciliation and finally, renewal as a reminder of the resurrection of Jesus as well as that final day when the faithful will be raised. The three main themes all radiate from the concept of discipleship.
Join us each Sunday during Lent at 10 AM as we focus on what it means to live a "purple-tinged life".
